I am unable to update my apps on my iPad when logged into my Apple ID, instead of my daughter’s

Whenever I request an update on my iPad when I’m logged into my account on the iPad iTunes Store request my daughters password instead of my password to update my apps on my iPad when it shows I’m logged in on my account. I can’t update my apps.

An app is forever tied to the Apple ID that acquired it -

An App Store app is forever tied to the Apple ID used to acquire it (paid or free). The Apple ID is encoded into the licensed copy that is downloaded. It is in the copy's DNA. That is the only Apple ID that can redownload or update the app.

If your daughter acquired the app, only her Apple ID can update the app.
