I can login to my Apple account but when I attempt to update some of my apps on iPhone my existing userid and password don’t work While the userid and password works for majority to update apps Who can I contact to assist with this issue?

Apps are permanently tied to the account used to purchase them. If they were originally downloaded using a different apple account, delete them and re-purchase/download them using the account you're using now.
If they were shared as part of family sharing and are no longer shared by the family organizer, you will either have to ask them to share them again or delete them and purchase them for yourself.
you should be getting a message when you attempt to update them that gives a clue as to why it can't update them.
