Whatever you do, DO NOT put your phone in a bag of rice. It's a BAD thing to do and can further damage your phone. Next, be prepared to purchase a new iPhone. Liquid damage can't be fixed and is almost always irreversible. The phone should be placed in a warm dry location and left powered off for at least a couple days. If it turns on after that, it still won't mean it isn't damaged.

Have you tried to put it in a sack of Rice I proved this hack when my iPod got soaked back then in 2016. But I don’t want assure you of the results coz devices of the present are water resistant if yours soaked consider visiting a technician

This is perhaps the worst advice you could offer someone. Apple specifically advises to NEVER try to dry a phone out with Rice. Rice dust will get in the charging port and can cause even more damage. But you might have known this if you had bothered to read the posts in this one page thread.

You can try to dry out the phone, but the damage has almost always already been done. If the phone turns on and works correctly after it dries out, it will be nothing short of a miracle.

Stand the phone on end and lean it against a wall so the port is at the bottom of the phone to try to let water drain out. Give the phone at least 2 days to dry out, then give it a try.

Apple won't even attempt repairs on a water damaged phone, so you are probably looking at a new phone.

To elaborate for the OP's benefit – while uncooked rice absorbs water, that works AGAINST you. Tiny bits of rice can expand and get stuck in your iPhone's ports, thus clogging them up and trapping water inside your iPhone.
