The wifi icon on my phone indicates a strong signal but my Apple News and other apps disconnect from the internet. I have to reboot a couple of times a day just to use these apps while at home. There's no indication of network issues.

Hi, that is uncomfortable to say the least, even I was facing a similar issue with wifi being disconnected on my iPhone 16 pro. However I found out that it was constantly switching from the 2.4GHz to the 5 GHz and back again. So i created a separate network SSID for the 5GHz band and connected my iPhone to it and its working well without a problem for about 2 months now. Not saying that this might be your exact problem, but just try this out maybe once! Have a great day ahead :)
