Can salt water damage my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Hey, I'm in the Mediterranean and accidentally took my iPhone 15 Pro Max into the sea for about 10 minutes. It's been 6 hours, and so far everything is working the same as before. Should I be worried? Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

I would be VERY worried. iPhone is NOT waterproof. Water intrusion is bad. Salt Water even worse as it's highly corrosive. I'd make sure the phone is completely backed up and I'd be prepared to buy a replacement phone if and when your phone fails.
