I would be VERY worried. iPhone is NOT waterproof. Water intrusion is bad. Salt Water even worse as it's highly corrosive. I'd make sure the phone is completely backed up and I'd be prepared to buy a replacement phone if and when your phone fails.

There is no formula which can tell you how long it takes, but typically from hours to a couple days. It really should be backed up, then powered off and placed in a warm dry room and left off for a couple days. If salt water got inside, it will start corroding the circuits internally and there is no fix available for that.

Salt water is highly corrosive. And that doesn't even take into account all of the other impurities in seawater.

If you are really lucky, the seals on an iPhone 15 worked well enough to keep water out. But don't be surprised if it fails in the near future.
