Problems downloading the X app on new iPad

I bought a new iPad 16 and although I can login to my X account through the browser it just said ooos something went wrong, try again later. I finally logged in again through the App Store but I cannot download the X app itself which is what I wish to do for ease of use. Any suggestions welcome!

When Open appears as the option instead of Get, the App Store is detecting the app installed on the device.


Facebook is installed on my device.


Snapchat is not.


From the Home screen swipe left and invoke the App Library.


Type in the app's name. If the app isn't on the device the result will state that.

Thanks … actually it only offers me open. There is no download option and that is the problem.. so I go to APP store nd click on X and only OPEN comes up so I have no idea how to change th8s. So able to access it by prowler or through the App Store but no dowloaded app on iPad 16. Happened after I lurches a couple of months ago. Fine of course on my existing iPhone

Apologies for typos and thank you for replying. When I click on the App Store offers only the OPEN option. There is no download option and I have no idea how to change this. I am able to access it by browser or through the App Store but because I can’t get the download option I can’t get the App icon downloaded to my iPad 16. X disappeared after I purchased the iPad a couple of months ago.
