how to find government alerts on iphone when it is NOT in notifications

I have gone to Settings-Notifications and scrolled to bottom but cannot see emergency slerts

iPhone 16e, iOS 18

The options depend on your region and cellular provider.

3. Government Alerts are supported when using a SIM card or eSIM from a supported carrier. For more information, contact your carrier.

4. In some countries or regions, you may not be able to turn off Government Alerts.

Your phone will display the options that your carrier is providing with their service

If I tap Settings > Notifications on my 6 year old phone and scroll down to see GOVERNMENT ALERTS, I have the option to enable or disable......

AMBER Alerts

Emergency Alerts

Public Safety Alerts

Test Alerts

If Emergency Alerts are not displayed on your phone, you might want to ask the customer support folks at your carrier about this.
