How to fix AirPods Pro not connecting to iPhone issues?

I disconnected my airpods from my phone today bc it was glitchy, after i went to bluetooth settings and forget” the device ive been trying to connect it back but it doesnt seem to work, it eventually says the setting up thing it does whenever u connect them, but it stops when it tells me to hold the button on the back and when i hold it nothing happens. I have tried restarting my phone but nothing is working, I know they are charged and have not been switched up.

Put both AirPods in the case and close the lid for about 30 seconds
Open the lid and make sure the AirPods are in the case.
Hold the button on the back of the case for at least 15–20 seconds until the light on the front or inside flashes amber, then white.

- ⚠️ If the light doesn’t flash, try holding the button while the lid is open and the case is connected to a charger.

Once the light flashes white, go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and pair the AirPods again like they’re new.
