Cracking sound during calls on AirPods 4 with ANC

I’m using AirPods 4 with ANC, and during voice or video calls, the other person hears a cracking sound from my side. I also tested it using a voice recorder, and the same issue occurs. I even got both earbuds replaced at the Apple Service Center, but the problem still persists.

Reset the AirPods completely – Go to Bluetooth settings, forget the AirPods, then re-pair them after holding the setup button for ~15 seconds until the light flashes amber and then white.
Check for firmware updates – Make sure the AirPods are running the latest firmware. This can update automatically when connected to your iPhone and charging.
Try another device – See if the crackling happens on a different iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This can help narrow down whether the issue is with the AirPods or the original device.

Environmental interference – Avoid using the AirPods in areas with heavy Bluetooth/Wi-Fi traffic, as interference can sometimes cause crackling during calls.

Microphone test – Try recording your voice using the Voice Memos app with just one AirPod in at a time to see if the problem is isolated to one side or happens with both.
