malicious device management profile

I installed a malicious device management profile and app. I also allow it to access my photos, location, and contacts. The hacker now have the above information. I immediately deleted the profile, but I am still concerned whether the hacker will still have access to my information or even my Apple ID. Do I need to do a factory reset or the problem was already solved when I deleted the malicious profile?

Also, will the hacker have access to my passwords or do things like tracking or spying on my phone? I am really really concerned.

My biggest concern is do I need further action after deleting the device management profile

  1. Change your Apple account password and passwords for other important accounts.
  2. Check for unknown apps, VPNs, or profiles and delete them.
  3. Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version.
  4. Run Apple’s Safety Check (iOS 16 or later):

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Safety Check

Use “Manage Sharing & Access” to review and stop sharing your data, location, and account access.

At last resort Factory reset your iPhone for maximum safety (recommended if you’re very concerned).

Back up your data first, but avoid restoring from a backup made after the infection if possible
