Touch issues on Iphone 16 pro

Yesterday, I bought a new Iphone 16 pro, which had never been activated. Immediately after setting it up, I started experiencing problems with the screen's sensitivity. When I tried to type, half of the keys only worked after 2-3 attempts. This was particularly noticeable in apps. Additionally, the phone sometimes fails to recognize certain touches, particularly in the lower part of the screen. However, when I draw lines in my notes, they remain continuous. Similarly, when I drag an app shortcut across the screen, it remains uninterrupted. I tried everything I could. I disabled unnecessary keyboard features, reset the keyboard, restored my iPhone through DFU mode, and updated my iOS version to the latest. But nothing worked.

Take it back to where you bought it. If it was from Apple you can return it and get a replacement within 14 days of purchase. If it’s been longer than 14 days Apple will still repair or replace it, but possibly with a refurbished iPhone.
