First try a forced restart, if that doesn't work reinstall the app. If that doesn't work contact the app developer for help with their software.

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

App Stalled:

A. Start Here: If an App on your iPhone or iPad Stops Responding, Closes Unexpectedly, or won’t Open - Apple Support

B. Reopen this App (on its own):

Save what need be, and then close all apps. Swipe your thumb up from the bottom-left corner of your screen, and then select responding apps, saving what need me. Once saved, perform this once more, swiping up each app. Then, open this app on its own.

C. Clear the Caches:

Caches are created for remembrance of application use, so that Apps open quicker, and as remembered. So, clear them. Use my User Tip: How to Clear "System Data" in your iPhone's Storage: - User Tip

"Try changing the language to English (uk) and then open the app. Should be good after, and then you can move the language back"

A Glitch?:

Try as mentioned by seanfromsaugus. Report back Ihe results. If what you are saying is so, then I'd say it's a glitch in the software. So, contact the Developer, inferring if there is a fix for this. You'll find their Contact Us info in the App Store (if applicable), or in the Developer's homepage.
