Unwanted Google browser instead of Safari on iPad
Safari is the default browser on my iPad, but Google comes up when I click on a link.

Google is a Search Engine - not a browser App. Your Safari browser is perhaps configured to use Google:
Settings > Apps > Safari > [Search] Search Engine - select your preferred option
