iPhone 13 making random pocket calls to old contacts

iPhone 13 making random pocket calls to people from my contact list. Some of the contacts I haven’t talked to in months. My iPhone 13 pocket calls one after another.

This is not unusual, when you have unintended touch to your iPhone screen with a phone in your pocket. You're lucky it has only called random contacts as opposed to possibly locking you out of your phone with an incorrect passcode entered too many times, which is a possibility when you carry your phone in a pocket.

KiltedTim is correct in suggesting you turn off Swipe or Tap to Wake in Settings. And you do that by opening the Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Turn off Tap or Swipe to Wake.

NOTE: After turning off the feature, you will need to tap the side power button to wake your iPhone, but that would preferable to calling random contacts or being locked out of your phone.
