Unauthorized automatic payment attempts on Apple Account

Hello Dear Apple Support,

This is a serious request. Please stop all attempts to charge my card immediately. I’m seeing repeated attempts from an app I don’t recognize — one for $30 and another for $11 — and because of this, I cannot download anything or use basic features on my device.

This situation is extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. I demand that you disable these unauthorized automatic payment attempts and restore full access to my account until I decide how to resolve the balance.

I expect a prompt resolution and confirmation that no further charges will occur.

Re: Hello Dear Apple Support,

We are all Apple users, like yourself in this community, so no-one here is able to access your accounts or details, and Apple is unlikely to see your post to the community here.

If you wish: (with respect, and if applicable: It is often wise to check first that no family members are attempting to make purchases):

You can contact Apple's Billing and Subscription Support from their website: There is a "Get support - start now" link (online chat / phone / email etc.) at the bottom of their webpage that opens from the link below.

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. We don't have access to information about charges to your account and we cannot stop any payment attempts as we are not Apple. Apple has a support article about charges — see the following instructions: Get help with charges from apple.com/bill - Apple Support

You are not speaking to Apple here, so you will not get the confirmation you are looking for, we are simply users just like you. If you want to speak to Apple directly, you can do that here:

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

We can offer assistance on what those charges are for and how they occurred. You will want to check what devices are currently logged into your account by going to Settings > [name on top], and scroll to the bottom. These devices were able to sign into your account with your Password.

On a device that is signed into your account, it requires the user to double click the side button with the amount showing on the screen, followed by verification with the device passcode. So that means if someone else also knows your device passcode, you have authorized them to make purchases. If it was a Free Trial, then you also see the trial period, Subscription start date, Subscription price, and a message that your account will be charged the subscription if not cancelled at least a day before. Cancelling a Free Trial/Subscription is done using this link:

View or cancel app subscriptions on iPhone - Apple Support

You can also get more information about purchases to see what they are for by viewing your Purchase History:

View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services - Apple Support

Hopefully this has helped you determine what the charge is for and able to track down any other users who have access to your account/device. Let us know what you find out in case you need to further secure your account or device.
