If I pay for AppleCare One for two of my devices, is there any way to add my wife's phone as the third? She is on a separate Apple ID.
Wondering if this is possible, much like how you can share the Apple One with your family.

Sorry but as we understand this still-new product, AppleCare One is a per-Apple Account (effectively per-person) subscription.
Restated, it does not protect the devices of multiple Apple Accounts within a Family.

AppleCare One plans can cover devices that are on the same Apple Account as the subscriber.
Apple does not like to use the word “no” in its documentation but the above statement effectively states that all devices have to be signed into the same Apple Account. You cannot have another family member's device under your AppleCare One plan unless they are sharing an account with you (which Apple in turn strongly recommends against).
just fyi to apple - this is essentially a useless feature if you can’t add your family’s devices to it. that is the primary use case
