How? Trade your iPhone in for one which is capable of running the latest iOS version. Apple would be happy to sell you a new iPhone. But like others have already told you, your phone is totally NOT capable of being updated higher than iOS 16.7.11.

You cannot download IOS 18 on your iPhone X. Or iOS 17, for that matter. For that phone, iOS 16 is the end of the line.
Can you find an iPhone X in the list on the link that you posted of iPhones that can run iOS 18?

No, you can't find it, so an iPhone X cannot run iOS 18.
An iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X isn't capable of 17 or above; they require an A12 or better CPU.
