Can I Link My Bank Account (Routing and Account Number) to My Apple Account?

Hi, I have a question about setting up payments on my Apple account. I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to link my Apple ID to my bank account using a routing number and account number (like what you’d use for direct deposit or ACH transfers), rather than using a debit card or credit card.

I’d like to know:

  1. Can I add a bank account directly to my Apple ID payment methods (not just a debit card)?
  2. If so, how do I set this up in the settings — and is this supported across all Apple services (App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, etc.)?
  3. Are there any limitations or fees when paying with a bank account vs. debit card?
  4. Is this option available in the United States or only in certain regions?

I’m hoping to use my regular checking account from [Your Bank Name] and link it directly using the routing and account number.

Thanks for your help! I appreciate any tips or updates if Apple allows this feature.

A bank account cannot be used as a payment method for your Apple Account. Here is a list of acceptable payment methods that can be used with your Apple Account for each region.
