Can an iPhone 16 Pro silicone case be damaged by others?

Hi. A few weeks ago, a friend of mine asked for my iPhone to see the silicon case. He removed the case and somehow tried to put it to his iPhone 16 Pro, just to see how the color looks on his phone (I don’t think this is something unusual). I don’t think he pushed to hard and the case feels good on my phone now as well. Do you think the case could be affected? Or it is just my impression?
