How do i install anAmazon Kindle app in a new (used) iPad?

I think that says it all: HOW DO I INSTALL AMAZON KINDLE (APP) IN A NEW IPAD? I know how to download it (duh), but what's the next step?

Once you download the Kindle app, you will be prompted to log in with your Amazon username and password. Once you do that, you should have access to all the content in your Kindle library.

Get apps in the App Store on iPad - Apple Support

You open your App Store, do a search for "kindle," and tap "Get." It installs. That's it.

What iPadOS version is on your "new used" iPad? The current version of the Kindle app requires iPadOS 16 or newer. To run iPadOS 16 your new/used iPad must be at least:

iPad Air 3rd Generation
