Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max Purchase Date: October 2022

Issue: A sudden vertical green line appeared in the middle of the screen. It is very bright, solid, and does not disappear after restarting the phone. There are no cracks, drops, or water damage. I have not done any screen replacements or repairs.

I already tried force restart and checking for iOS updates, but the line remains. Screenshot does not show the green line, which suggests it is a hardware display issue.

I've read that this is a common problem for iPhone 14 Pro Max models and that Apple has sometimes replaced displays or units even out of warranty. I want to know if this qualifies for free repair or replacement, even though my warranty expired in October 2023.

Hoping someone from Apple or the community can advise. Thank you!

Facing Green / Yellow Screen issues? Here's what worked for me:

After the iPhone starts...

1️⃣ Backup on iCloud/iTunes
