MacBook Air is unable to print with "Filter" failed even with printer showing green light

I have a new MacBook Air, data migrated from a MacBook Pro. I can't print, even though the printer (Brother) is showing with a green light. The message says'Stopped [my name] "Filter" failed.

OS is Sequoia 15.6 Printer is Brother HL2270DW
