With the sole exception of the Apple Pencil Pro, there are no technical means by which a mislaid Apple Pencil can be located. Even if still charged, a motionless Pencil will shut-off its Bluetooth connection to save power.

Post notices around where it got lost, and if applicable, contact the Lost & Found department of the facility involved.
The Find My service isn't available for pencils other than the Apple Pencil Pro.
