Old iPhone passcode worked briefly after change

Your daughter is NOT lying. With iOS 17 and higher, when you change your passcode on your iPhone, your old passcode will still work for up to 72 hours.

She may not remember exactly when she changed the passcode, but it should work for a while. And clearly the time has passed and now it doesn't work.
