Home button not working and unable to activate Touch ID on 2nd generation iPhone SE

I just dropped my Iphone SE 2 on the ground. it seemed unaffected, but after a few seconds it turned off. After turning it back on, The home button stopped working, and a notification appeared saying "unable to activate touch id on this iphone" Does anyone have a fix? Please don't tell me it need's repaired.

UPDATE

I've started using assisted touch. While this works fine, I still consider it a workaround rather than a fix. So still, if you have a fix, please drop it here. Thx

There is no magic wand we can wave to fix a damaged phone. So you won't find a fix here. If you're not willing to pay for a repair (not a good investment on a phone released 5 years ago) and you don't want to pay for a new iPhone, then you'll have to live with the phone you've got.
