2G network selection missing on iPhone in rural areas

i have been using I phone since iPhone started but this problem is worse I just missed my 2g network selection on my network setting it shows only 5g auto /5g/LTE and 3g ONLY I was using 2G IN RULER AREAS where there is no good network now no message showing no 2 g network working any one knows this problem thanks

This depends on your Carrier...contact them if in doubt


many no longer support older mobile network technology. My carrier only supports 4LTE and newer.

Who is your cellular provider? As far as I know T-Mobile was the last provider to support 2G and they notified their customers in February that it would soon be gone. Any cellular options you see on your iPhone are provided by your cellular company.

FWIW, 3g is not far behind, and already being shut down by most cellular providers.
