How do I connect a wireless mouse to MacBook Air M4?

on the macbook m4 what it the wider port for? i have a wireless mouse but it doesn't fit in those 3 ports

The wide port on the left side of the computer is for the Magsafe battery charging cable.

MacBook Air 13- and 15-inch with M4 Chip - Tech Specs - Apple


To connect the USB dongle for a wireless mouse you will likely need to buy a USB-A to USB-C plug adapter. This will allow you to plug the USB-A (common plug) dongle into the newer USB-C ports on the computer.


You'll be looking for something like this, available at Amazon.
