Unable to find missing MacBook Pro using Find My app

Unfortunately, if the location of the computer is not displayed in Find My, then there is nothing to be done but perhaps make a stolen property report to the police and your insurance company.

You may also remotely erase the computer to protect your data.

My understanding is —Find My cannot locate a Mac if it is completely powered off

On line is one thing but powered on is another
