AirPods Pro sound like underwater only when faucet is on

Both my AirPods Pro and my partner's are having an issue ONLY when water is running in the background. If a blender is running or music is playing or the TV is on, we can talk on the AirPods and it sounds crystal clear. If we turn on a faucet or a garden hose, the person that turned on the water sounds like they are under water. As soon as you turn off the water, it returns to a clear sound. They are both only a couple months old and have been cleaned and tested for tip size. It sounds perfectly clear the rest of the time, so that leads me to believe it's not because they're dirty. It ONLY happens when water is running. Thanks!

I don't know if it will make any difference with the water sounds, yet, if you haven't, you might want to experiment with what you hear by switching modes:
