How to clean a cloth-like Apple Watch band after exercise?

Naturally I wear my watch when exercising but being the the watchband is made of some cloth-like material, sweat is absorb. What is the best way to clean it?

If not using an easy-to-clean fluoroelastomer band, and this all completely outside of what Apple suggests…


This only for the woven-fabric bands, and not the leather, FineWoven, Milanese, Hermès, fluoroelastomer, or link bands…


I’ve occasionally used a zipped mesh “delicates” bag, and the washing machine set on “delicate”, mixed with clothing lacking metal parts, no hook-and-loop fasteners, no zippers, etc. Gentle soap. No bleach. It worked.


The fluoroelastomer bands will probably work with this too, but I haven’t tried that. Or needed to.
