YouTube Notifications Working on iPad but not iPhone

I have checked and double checked; the notification settings in both the YouTube app and in the device settings are identical for both devices. The only difference is that my iPad has no Apple Intelligence support so obviously those settings won't be turned on. I have absolutely no idea why the notifications are working on my iPad but not my iPhone. I have tried signing in and out, restarting the iPhone multiple times, reinstalling YouTube, but nothing works.

OK. When you wear Apple Watch, Notifications will be delivered to your watch, NOT your iPhone if your iPhone screen is locked. Now, on your iPhone, open the Watch App. Tap Notifications and go far down the page to MIRROR IPHONE ALERTS FROM to make sure YouTube Notifications are turned on.

I wear Apple Watch and I get notifications on my Apple Watch from YouTube when I'm wearing my watch. If I then look at my YouTube App on my iPhone, there are notifications there, but of course they didn't make a sound on my iPhone as their not supposed to when wearing Apple Watch. At this point, you should contact YouTube for help with their app as Apple doesn't own it.

One thing you could try is to delete the YouTube app off your iPhone, then add it back from the App Store. That will ensure you have the most current version of the app. Also, is your iPhone updated to the very latest iOS version your phone can support? About a week and half ago, iOS 18.6 was released.
