Unable to change my Apple Account photo on MacBook Air

I open my system settings in my Macbook Air.. Can you see a Green ball image associated to my profile.. I want to change that.

I change the green ball image to the image of my choice and I save it and everything is happening as expected till now...

But, as soon as I close this system settings tab and reopen it , the green ball is back...so frustated with this...

What to dooooo?? @apple...-> This is a bug in your software...please fix it!

Re: "unable to change my apple account photo in settings in mac"

Seems you have followed Apple's method (linked article below) without success.

Select your Apple Account picture on Mac - Apple Support

You might want to try restarting your Mac (Apple menu > Restart)

(ie: Deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update recent setting changes, and often restores order if something is not working as expected.) Then sign back in to your Mac, and, if needed, try again.

_______________

If still no success: if you wish: You can send feedback to reach those who work behind-the-scenes at Apple..

(You could include a link to this discussion thread.)

They will likely not reply, yet your feedback will be carefully read and logged. If others are also experiencing a similar issue, we may see an update that addresses that. If it is a bug, as you suspect, the more feedback Apple receives on which hardware models and software versions are affected, the more likely we will see an update.
