Updated iPhone 15 pro to IOS 18.6 & push notifications no longer appearing on phone or watch

Like title states -- I updated my iPhone 15 pro to IOS 18.6 and no longer am receiving push notifications for imessage. Every forum I've seen states to delete the app that is no longer sending push notifications (after verifying all settings are correct) but that's not an option for imessage.

I have checked my settings (imessage notifications are all on), I followed a few "hacks" from previous updates that had the same issues (turning off notifications, turning off the phone, turning phone back on, turning on notifications), I unpaired my watch & re-paired my watch, I've restarted everything. I really don't know what else I can do to try to solve this problem. I'm getting other push notifications, just not imessage. No, my phone is not in focus mode. Yes, my notifications are on. Yes, it's happening with multiple people not just one.
