Restore from a backup or reset your iPhone to factory settings. Important: Back Up First: Be sure create a back up your iPhone prior to performing an update, that way you have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong afterwards. 

A. Restore from a Backup:

Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.

Troubleshooting Notifications:

A. Change Notification Methods:

Either use enable sound for messages and unmute your iPhone and increase the volume.

• Change Message Notifications on iPhone - Apple Support

B. Verify Your Settings:

• Doublecheck your settings: Use Notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

• Check what is Allowed: Notifications: Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Just back all your info up & reset - unfortunately it may be the only way.

Make sure you back up all photos and change any passwords you might remember; and you should be fine.

{I recommend using Google for storage - you can upload 15G of photos in original quality for free! Keep in mind you can make as many Gmails as you want.}

So sorry about that.. Hope they get this fixed.

That sounds extremely frustrating.

The only thing I can recommend now is to just work with Apple and request that they look into it/patch it

{Also, side note, you may just want to choose not to restore from apple, only from Google (photos etc, and write or remember passwords and everything else) - only do that if you don’t have time to wait for Apple to fix it, of course, because that would be a major pain to set everything back to the way that it was!}
