Notifications not working

I made the mistake of upgrading to IOS 17. Total disaster. Notifications do not work. I went to the genius bar and they told me to wait for IOS 17.1. Did so, and still nothing. They said the only way to fix it is to wipe the phone (loose all data) and start again.... even then they don't know if it will fix it. Just awful. Iphone 12, Apple watch 10.

Then, I agree with Apple.

Restore from a backup or reset your iPhone to factory settings. Important: Back Up First: Be sure create a back up your iPhone prior to performing an update, that way you have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong afterwards.

A. Restore from a Backup:

Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.

So sorry about that.. Hope they get this fixed.

That sounds extremely frustrating.

The only thing I can recommend now is to just work with Apple and request that they look into it/patch it

{Also, side note, you may just want to choose not to restore from apple, only from Google (photos etc, and write or remember passwords and everything else) - only do that if you don’t have time to wait for Apple to fix it, of course, because that would be a major pain to set everything back to the way that it was!}
