In UK, will 30 watt USB-C power adaptor accept my iPhone 16 pro max power cord? Is 30 watt or 70 watt adaptor best for the UK?

Your USB-C 30W Power Adapter is more than adequate to charge your iPhone 16 Pro Max. For this model of iPhone, you are unlikely to notice any significant difference in charging performance over that of a 20W Power Adapter.

The only major consideration is that your Power Adapter should support USB PD (Power Delivery). Apple devices do not support third-party or proprietary charging standards such as QC (Quick Charge). All Apple USB-C Power Adapters support USB PD.
