Receiving multiple authentication codes can happen if someone is trying to sign in to an account using your number. This doesn’t necessarily mean your iPhone itself is hacked, but you should treat it seriously.

Steps to take:

• Change your Apple ID password immediately.

• Turn on two-factor authentication for all important accounts.

• Check Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > See All for devices signed in with your Apple ID and remove any you don’t recognize.

• Update to the latest iOS version.

• If the font size or settings change on their own, reset them in Settings > Display & Brightness and monitor for further changes.

If suspicious behavior continues, consider doing a full iPhone backup, erase, and restore from a clean copy.

You can turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Apple ID right in your iPhone’s settings: Settings > [your name at the top] > Password & Security > Two-Factor Authentication.

For your other accounts (email, bank, social media, etc.), you’ll need to enable 2FA individually through each app or its website, since Apple can’t turn it on for them. Look in the account’s Security or Login settings for the option.

Can I turn on 2 factor authentication in my phone settings. Or do I have to look on each app web site. Also. Ty for your time. I am not very tech savvy. Long in the tooth

You can turn on 2FA for your Apple Account, which includes iCloud→TWO-FACTOR authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support. Note that once you turn it on you cannot turn it off.

You need to turn on 2FA for each app or website, using instructions on the site. You can (and should) create a Passkey for your Apple Account and for any site or app that supports this newer, password-less secure login→Use passkeys to sign in to websites and apps on iPhone - Apple Support
