Helps support and backup all apps code and Gmail messages and systems services better. Thanks 👏

Allowing Apps to Track has no effect on backing up apps or their data. It is not needed at all for any benefit in System Services on your device. Google wants to be able to track your activity across apps and websites so they can sell your information to advertisers. It is illegal for companies to track minors, which is why there is an age restriction on that setting.

Some companies will offer features that require you to turn this on, so now you know why that is the case. The choice is yours to make. Have you ever searched for something on Google, and then starting seeing ads on webpages related to your search terms? That is Google tracking you. Google has already been caught reading users Gmails. How do you think they post billions in revenue when they let you use their services for free?
