Airpods 4 won’t populate on Bluetooth list on IPhone.

I just got brand new Air Pod 4’s for my birthday, they worked great until a few days later. The left one stopped working but the right one was fine. So following Apple’s suggestions online I hard reset my AirPods hoping that would fix everything. Forgot the device on my Bluetooth list on my iPhone, and now when I open the case it’s a flashing white light and nothing populates on my Bluetooth list. Very frustrating. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen on the internet.

iPhone 13, iOS 18

Have you tried to reset the AirPods using these instructions to see if the issues persist?

  1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, close the lid, and wait 30 seconds.
  2. On an iPhone or iPad that's paired with your AirPods, go to Settings > Bluetooth:
    • If your AirPods appear in the My Devices list, tap the More Info button next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
    • If your AirPods don't appear in the list, continue to the next step.
  1. Open the lid of your charging case.
  2. Double-tap the front of the case while the status light is on.
  3. Double-tap again when the status light flashes white.
  4. Double-tap a third time when the status light flashes faster.
  5. When the status light flashes amber, then flashes white, you can follow the steps on your device's screen to reconnect your AirPods.

  1. Put your AirPods in the charging case and close the lid for 20 seconds.
  2. Open the lid of your charging case.
  3. Depending on your model of AirPods:
    • For AirPods 4 models, double-tap the front of the case while the status light is on, double-tap again when the status light flashes white. When the status light flashes faster, double-tap a third time, until the status light flashes amber, then flashes white.
  1. To reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your device, then follow the steps on your device's screen.
