Camera Not Working in Banking and Other Apps After iOS 18 Update
After updating to iOS 18.5 on my iPhone 15, I ran into a weird problem. Whenever I try to use the camera inside my banking app to scan and pay, it just shows a black screen. The same thing happens with Google apps too it says
“The camera is not available. Exit Split View to enable camera.”
But here’s the confusing part the camera works perfectly fine on apps like Instagram.
And yeah, it does go back to normal after restarting my phone, which is fine I guess. But now every week I’m basically gambling with my phone like “is my camera gonna die today?” 😭 The most embarrassing part is when I’m at a restaurant trying to scan and pay, and suddenly the app just won’t scan. I’m literally stuck standing there smiling awkwardly🧍🏻for a whole minute waiting for my phone to reboot. Never thought a cashless society would make me wanna disappear into the ground like this 💀
