I cannot use in-app camera function after new iOS 26.2 update on all my apple devices; what is the fix? I have “turned it off and turned it on’ again multiple times. For example, I cannot take photos for checks for online deposits.

Have you:
Opened Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera - made sure every app you want to have access to the camera is turned on?
Thank you. I did do this but after reading your reply I decided to check again. Interesting thing: I allowed this on my phone which is the device I primarily use for any app using the camera. I did not allow it on my ipad. I decided it allow it on my ipad then tried on the phone - it worked.

I'm experiencing the same problem with iOS 26.2.1 on my iPad Pro. Camera won't work in Chrome or Safari. I've tried the solutions above and several others numerous times (including shutting down and restarting my iPad). All settings are in order. Any alternative recommendations? Would it be wise to delete and reinstall Chrome and Safari?
