iPhone 16 Pro Max coverage expiration date changed without explanation

I strongly suggest everyone documents the coverage expiration dates of your Apple products. The coverage expiration date on my iPhone 16 Pro Max randomly changed.. I had taken a screenshot days prior when speaking to Apple support and then a few days later noticed it changed from not expiring until December, to having already expired in March..

Makes me wonder how often Apple is doing this to consumers and it is highly suspicious. I reached out to Apple care and they were of no help really except saying they would change it back, (Which it has yet to be changed back) .. And they gave me no answer as to why it was changed.. hmm.

Me being logged in or logged out has nothing to do with the coverage end date of my Apple product. One day my coverage end date said it was good until December, then 2 days later it says it expired in march? And it shows the same serial number both times although you can’t see the serial numbers in the photos I posted. And right now it still says it expired in march- they have done nothing to fix it. This whole issue seems real sketchy to me and the fact they still have yet to fix it is even more appalling. And if you aren’t signed in, it won’t show you any coverage information at all and you will see this screen :

You’re talking about the little blue thing on the right that says “sign in?” That’s because I was on the browser and was on the check coverage website. You don’t have to sign in to check coverage of an Apple device. You only need the serial number. No sign in is required. Being signed in or signed out has nothing to do with this issue of my coverage end date changing. As is proven with the fact that you can check any Apple product using the serial number.
