Request to Remove Apple ID Balance to Change CountrY

Dear Apple Support,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am trying to change the country/region of my Apple ID from the United States to Iraq, but I am unable to do so because I have a remaining balance of $0.09 in my account.

Unfortunately, I cannot spend this balance because I can't find any items priced at that amount. I kindly request your assistance in removing this remaining balance so that I can proceed with changing the country for my account.

The people on these boards are mostly other customers, not Apple Support. Buy something more expensive than your balance and use a different payment method from the current region for the extra amount; if you can't, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to zero it.

Hello ~If you are trying to zero your balance before changing regions…you may purchase an item from the App Store for more than your balance and the remainder will be billed to your credit card on file thus zeroing your balance . You may also go to lower left hand corner and click on Support and they can zero it for you or…
