Repeated Instagram and Facebook account suspensions on iPhone
Dear Apple Support Team,
I’m reaching out regarding a serious issue with my Instagram and Facebook accounts, which has left me considering whether I need to purchase a new iPhone or change my Apple ID. I only want to take such significant steps if they are guaranteed solutions, and I was hoping you could provide guidance.
To explain: over the past six weeks, three of my personal Instagram accounts (and my connected personal Facebook account) have been permanently disabled. I have also attempted to create four new Instagram accounts using different emails, phone numbers, and even one attempt from outside the country — but all four were immediately suspended.
I’ve exhausted every option Meta provides:
- Submitted appeals with photo ID and 3D selfies.
- Contacted Facebook Business Support (including running paid ads to access the feature).
- Reached out via Meta’s general support channels.
- Attempted to start over with entirely new accounts.
Nothing has worked.
While I understand Instagram and Facebook are not Apple products, I’m trying to determine whether my Apple ID, device, or iCloud data might be contributing to these repeated suspensions. Before I go as far as purchasing a new phone or creating a new Apple ID, I need to know whether such steps could realistically resolve the problem.
Additionally, I realize this may not fall directly within your wheelhouse, but I am desperately hoping Apple may have a way to escalate this issue with Meta, or at least point me toward a more effective channel for resolution.
Instagram is critical to both my personal and professional life, and at this point I feel completely stuck. Any advice or direction you could provide — whether it’s confirming whether my Apple account could be a factor, or connecting me with the right resources — would mean a great deal.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
