I have an Apple Watch Series 7 running watchOS 11.6 It is not recording exercise correctly. It used to record a brisk walk as exercise but now I need to be actually running. It does record all the other metrics in Activity. I have cleaned the back of the watch with alcohol, made sure it was correctly tight on my wrist, etc.
Anyone have this issue recently? (August 2025)

Also check, if your Health data in the settings for Health in the WatchApp on your iPhone is still correct. Health/ -> Health Details -> Height & Weight
