Unable to add new bank card for Apple purchases

I was trying to add my bank card to my Apple purchase it not working I just went to the bank and received the new card . This is my I received 🤦🤦

Cannot add card to apple wallet I’ve tried EVERYTHING, I cannot add my card to my apple wallet. I get a prompt telling me to contact my issuer. The bank blames apple & Apple blames the bank. Its driving me insane.

It's telling you what the issue is.

The expiration date you entered appears to be in the past.

Make sure it's entered correctly and in the correct order for month and year.
