Connecting iPad/iPhone to ASUS ProArt PA279Q monio

Hi,

I have iPad Air Pro and iPhone 16 Pro.

I have an USBC to HDMI cable from Amazon.

I can connect to my Samsung TV fine.

I cannot connect to my ASUS ProArt PA279Q.

The phone see it is connected to a monitor, but does not identify it by name. The monitor says nothing connected.

Any ideas?

iPhones really don't identify the connected display. They'll tell you in the Dynamic Island that something is connected, but that's it. iPads work similarly.

Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input using its own menu.

It may default to the Display Port or DVI input instead of HDMI.
