Ask ChatGPT, this is what it has to say:

🔑 Core Skills First (Foundation)

  1. Master Gestures
    1. Learn swipes: up (Home), down (Control/Notification Center), left-right (switch apps).
  2. Practice pinch-to-zoom, long press vs. tap.
    1. 👉 Think of this as learning the “alphabet” before writing sentences.
  3. Get Comfortable with Settings
    1. Explore Settings > General > iPhone Storage, Control Center, Accessibility.
  4. Tweak brightness, sounds, Focus, and Face ID.
    1. 👉 The faster you know where things live, the less lost you’ll feel.
  5. Use Siri & Search
    1. Don’t hunt through menus. Swipe down from the middle of the screen and just type (Spotlight).
    2. Siri can open apps, set alarms, send texts—saves time while you’re learning.

🚀 Speed-Up Learning (Skill Boosters)

  1. Shortcuts & Widgets
    1. Add a weather or battery widget to your Home Screen.
    2. Try one automation in the Shortcuts app (e.g., “When I plug in headphones → open Music”).
  2. Practice With Purpose
    1. Pick a daily task (maps, photos, FaceTime). Each day, dive deeper into that one app until you know hidden tricks.
  3. Leverage Apple’s Guides
    1. Apple has a built-in Tips app (yellow lightbulb icon). It’s like a cheat sheet.

🎮 Make It Fun

  • Treat it like a game: challenge yourself to learn one new trick a day.
  • YouTube and TikTok are full of “iPhone 13 hidden features” tutorials—watch, then replicate.
  • Ask friends who are iPhone pros to show off their favorite tricks—you’ll pick things up faster through real use.

🧩 Extra for Mastery

  • Explore Accessibility features (even if you don’t “need” them)—VoiceOver, Back Tap, custom gestures. They often become power tools.
  • Backup and restore to get comfortable with iCloud—this helps you not fear mistakes.

⚡In short: Start with gestures + settings → practice a few apps daily → use Siri & Spotlight as your crutch → level up with widgets, shortcuts, and tips. Within 2 weeks you’ll feel like you’ve always used an iPhone.
