Profile on Messages showing as brother's despite separate Apple Accounts

why is my profile on messages showing up as my brothers. we have seperate apple accounts. i remember pressing something and then it turned my profile and user name into his when i clicked on something while i was looking at his contact page

I can’t seem to recreate it to figure out what I pressed.
