Pressing the 3 dots no longer works on a post I want save, hide etc. This has happened before and then resolved itself but not changing now. Works fine on iPhone but no longer working on iPad. Help please?

I will go out on a limb here and say you are talking about Facebook/Instagram. Is that the case?
If that is it, for any problem with a Meta app, you will have to contact Meta. They have a poor track record on introducing bugs when they update the app and that is by far more noticeable on the iPad. There is nothing wrong with your iPad and Apple cannot solve a problem with a Meta app.
