Red dots on iPhone 1x camera after laser exposure

yesterday i was in pub then laser directlty pointed to my camera while taking phot and videos and today morning i it appears two red dot on while opening camera(redish pink like mole ) on rear camera of 1x...

on others hand my friend was doing same thing with android phone nothing absolutely happen to his phone…………

what does it means laser really damage iphone camera?

does the standard of iPhone become so cheap nowadays??

Cheap? Puhleeze. Lasers can and will damage the sensor in ANY camera, not just iPhone. Your phones camera is now damaged as result and you'll need to pay Apple to replace the affected camera which was damaged.

You have damaged the sensor and it will need to be replaced.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it repaired.

Those points can be dead pixels and damage I am afraid

Have you tried to force restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist?

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

Lasers can damage your eyes and digital camera sensors .

Try it on a top end Leica - cheapness has nothing to do with it.
